In every history class I’ve had college or other wise, whenever the topic of slavery and American freedom came up the white students or the professor would remark: “now young negro boy I thank you for your concern. How slavery could’ve existed in a democracy is a very pressing question. However u must understand that these men were A MAN OF THEIR TIMES. SLAVERY WAS APART OF THEIR LIVES. IT WAS SOMETHING EVERY ONE DID AT THE TIME.”

At first I’m like yea that is kinda true but the I say wait a damn minute: John Brown a white men lead an indirection with black men to END SLAVERY. He was not a public official or linked with govt in anyway he was a private citizen. The mere fact that he a white man would do such a thing proves that slavery existed in this country because of greed, pure greed. It had nothing to do with civilizing blacks or spreading Christianity!

Thus none of the fathers who could’ve ended slavery were merely men following the crowd, they were greedy rapists plain and simple!
